2026 International Logistics Exhibition | Soft Robotics Technology Energizes Digital Intelligent Cold Chain, Forming the Core Driving Force of Smart Logistics

From June 3 to 5, the 2026 China (Guangzhou) International Logistics Equipment and Technology Exhibition (LET) officially opened at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Under the theme "Digital & Intelligent Factory, Smart Logistics, Robotics," the exhibition brought together over a thousand domestic and international enterprises, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the logistics field. SRT presented its four-way shuttle AS/RS + intelligent depalletizing and unit‑load building cold chain solutions at Booth B23, Hall 18.1, focusing on the modernization of the food cold chain and discussing new standards for digital & intelligent, flexible, and green logistics construction with industry peers.

As a critical link in ensuring public livelihood, the food cold chain still has considerable room for improvement in traditional operation models regarding space utilization, energy consumption control, operational efficiency, flexible adaptation, and quality traceability. With consumption upgrading and the deepening advancement of intelligent manufacturing, the industry’s demand for a high-density, unmanned, low-energy, and highly flexible modern cold chain system continues to grow. Proactively pursuing digital and intelligent upgrades not only delivers stable operational improvements and cost optimization but also helps avoid the efficiency losses, cost escalation, and operational risks associated with long‑term reliance on outdated practices.

Targeting Deep‑Cold Pain Points to Deliver Value in Quality and Efficiency Improvement

Leveraging years of experience in soft robotics technology and smart logistics, SRT integrates soft technology with intelligent warehousing equipment based on actual market demands and industry pain points, forming an end-to-end solution tailored for the food cold chain scenario.

The –18°C food cold chain intelligent warehousing and distribution solution showcased at this exhibition, centered around a four‑way shuttle AS/RS, integrates an intelligent depalletizing and unit‑load building system, a WMS intelligent scheduling platform, and 3D vision recognition technology to establish a cold chain warehousing system that is “high‑density, unmanned, low‑energy, and traceable.” It precisely meets the end‑to‑end needs of food enterprises from inbound, storage, sorting, to distribution.

In practical applications, this solution demonstrates significant value: it operates stably in a –18°C deep‑cold environment, making it ideal for core food frozen storage scenarios. The high‑density three‑dimensional storage design increases cold storage space utilization to over 80%, and storage capacity is 2 to 3 times higher than that of traditional warehousing, effectively solving issues of space waste and seasonal peak‑season overload. The entire process is unmanned: the four‑way shuttles operate in parallel across layers, moving both horizontally and vertically within the racks, transforming “man‑to‑goods” into “goods‑to‑man.” This reduces the time personnel spend in low‑temperature zones, lowering cold energy loss by more than 30%, significantly cutting energy costs, while also avoiding safety risks associated with low‑temperature operations and alleviating recruitment difficulties.

In addition, the solution is equipped with a WMS full‑process management system and an intelligent traceability module, enabling automatic barcode scanning and identification, intelligent inbound and outbound scheduling, precise batch management, and automatic shelf‑life warning, thereby solving the pain points of difficult traceability and high near‑expiry losses. The flexible modular design supports on‑demand addition or reduction of equipment, adapting to the warehousing needs of enterprises of different scales, while also being compatible with multiple sizes and batches of cartons or totes. By incorporating low‑temperature automatic depalletizing with 3D vision recognition, it effectively improves the efficiency of depalletizing and unit‑load building, enhancing scenario adaptability flexibility.

In the depalletizing and unit‑load building process, SRT’s self‑developed bionic dexterous end‑effector plays a key role. Compared with traditional rigid grippers, the bionic dexterous end‑effector offers better adaptability to variations in food packaging shape, dimensional tolerances, and stacking misalignment. A single bionic dexterous end‑effector can handle the changeover between multiple different product specifications, avoiding downtime caused by frequent tool changes.

Deepening Industry Practices to Empower Smart Logistics

As a significant application achievement of soft robotics technology in the logistics field, SRT’s smart logistics solutions have been commercially deployed across multiple industries, including food and fresh produce, supermarket retail, prepared meals, and semiconductors. Serving renowned enterprises such as Saizeriya, Quanjiang Preserved Meat, and Yandong Microelectronics, SRT has accumulated extensive scenario‑based implementation experience. Characterized by “flexibility, precise adaptability, and green efficiency,” these solutions not only address the practical needs of industries such as the cold chain but also help enterprises build digital and intelligent cold chain operation models, driving industry upgrades toward green, efficient, and smart directions. Among them, the “Efficient Automatic Packaging Logistics Solution for the Food Industry” has been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s 2025 “Open Competition” Project for Intelligent Manufacturing System Solutions, validating its technical capability and industry applicability.

Going forward, SRT will continue to follow the development direction of digital & intelligent factories and smart logistics, further refining scenario‑specific solutions for cold chain, warehousing, handling, and more. With stable products and services, SRT will help customers optimize logistics efficiency and advance their digital & intelligent transformation. The exhibition runs until the 5th of this month. We welcome industry partners to visit Booth B23, Hall 18.1 for exchanges and discussions, and to jointly promote cooperation, allowing soft robotics technology to reshape a new ecosystem across thousands of industries.
