SRT Soft Robot Technology Launches 2023 Application for the Ministry of Education’s “Industry-Academia Collaboration and Education Synergy Project”

Recently, Soft Robot Technology (SRT) has been officially approved for the “Industry-Academia Collaboration and Education Synergy Project” issued by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education.

The letter from the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education on “Soliciting 2023 Industry-Academia Collaboration and Education Synergy Projects” clearly states that, in order to encourage enterprises to align with national strategies and the needs of economic and social development, this year’s projects continue to focus on the construction of the “Four New” fields (New Engineering, New Medicine, New Agriculture, and New Liberal Arts), with designated key areas of support. The project approved for our company falls under the key supported area of intelligent manufacturing equipment.

Project Introduction

Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (SRT), leveraging its own strengths as well as those of its upstream and downstream industrial sectors, has established collaborative education synergy projects targeting such majors as Robotics Engineering, Future Robotics, Industrial Intelligence, Intelligent Equipment and Systems, and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering.

Teaching Content and Curriculum System Reform Project

Two teaching content reform projects have been established. These projects support the reform of teaching content in the areas of “intelligent equipment,” “semiconductor production equipment,” and “digital twins,” and aim to develop shareable resources such as courses, textbooks, and teaching cases that meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Faculty Training Project

Four flexible fixture applied design research projects have been established. The company will provide faculty support, hardware and software resources, investment funds, and more to help universities strengthen the development of their innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum systems, practical training systems, maker spaces, project incubation and commercialization platforms, and to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform Project

Two projects on the exploration of university-enterprise collaborative education paths for New Engineering disciplines have been established. The company will provide funding and resources to support universities in conducting research and practice on New Engineering, promoting collaboration between universities and enterprises in education, talent cultivation, employment, and development, while carrying out diverse exploration practices in depth to form replicable reform achievements.

Upload the document with the official seal. Project applicants must, before the project application deadline on the platform, convert the application form stamped with the official seal of the university’s competent authority into a PDF electronic document (no need to submit a paper copy) and upload it to the platform.

Schedule: Projects that complete agreement confirmation within the platform by November 15 will be included in the review and publication of the second batch of approved projects for 2023.

Projects that complete agreement confirmation on the platform after November 15 will not be included in the Ministry of Education’s Industry-Academia Collaboration and Education Synergy Project.
